A pastor has gotten himself to deal with the law after he was seen preaching to his church members with an AK-47 rifle on him. He was picked up by the Intelligence Response Team, Force Intelligence Bureau, Garki, Abuja for questioning and investigation to begin.
The pastor presiding pastor of House on the rock church in Abuja identified as pastor uche Aigbe was immediately apprehended by the police after video of him preaching to his church members while holding on to hIs AK-47 rifle went viral. According to sources closed to the church, the church member were a bit terrified when he came in bearing an AK-47 but kept their cool.
The FCT police command ordered an investigation to take place, and upon the closing of the investigation, it was revealed that, the AK-47 rifle was handed over to him by a police officer identified as inspector Audu who was on an assignment in the church. Audu was called in for questioning as to why he handed over the rifle to the pastor.
Stating his reasons, he revealed that, he only handed over the rifle to him because he wanted to use it for an illustration. The inspector General of police, Federal capital territory command, Sadiq Abubakar has made a recommendation to the inspector General of police Mr Usman Baba for the immediate dismissing of inspector Audu.
