Entertainment critic and pundit Ruth’s has advised Ghanaian and Tema based rapper Kwesi Arthur to go back to school if the hits songs ain’t come.
kwesi Arthur over the years proved he was one of the promising rising artist in Ghana, from providing nationwide hits like “Grind day”, “Don’t keep me waiting”, “Baajo”, “celebrate”, “African girl” among others and also getting a BET award. He amassed a lot of followers and number at the rise of his career.
However for the past few years, Kwesi seem to be struggling with providing a hit song, that’s is to say it’s been long he provide the nation with a hit although he has been dropping songs and getting a number of collaborations and features. In an interview, Kwesi Arthur addressing his educational background revealed that, although he passed he wassce examination, he do not see himself entering a classroom for a lecturer to teach him again because the music pays and he can’t waste time and money and books.
"I still educate myself. I don't think I'll be able to
go to a class with a lecturer in front of me. I'm
opened to learning new thing every day”.
Ruthy addressing Kwesi Arthur’s current state of his musical career advised the rapper to quickly get back to school if he thinks the music is not working anymore and follow the footsteps of Ghanaian rapper Amerado as soon as possible.
Ghanaian rapper Amerado recently announced that he had gained admission to the University of Ghana as he reconsider the music might not be paying much in some time to come there he can switch and use his educational certificate for a job too.
Ghanaian dancehall artist Samini has also gotten himself admission to the Ghana Institute Of Management And Public Administration (GIMPA) and he’s now the SRC president of the institution although he still does music and has been playing quite a number of shows.
