Two Nigerian security guards have been sentenced to de@th by hanging after they were found guilty of murdering their 72 year old boss and his daughter in Ondo state Nigeria.
The two guards identified as Ayuba Idris and Tasur Abubakar were found guilty on the 14th of February 2023 after they were found guilty of the murder of their 71 year old boss identified as Kwaku Kwakye Richard and his daughter Kwakye Tope who is also 27 years of age. According to sources, they committed the crime in 2019.
The two criminals received their sentence by a high court situated in Akure a suburb of the ondo state. The two commited the crime on the 1st of may 2019 at the residence of the deceased located at Ojomo Akintan Estate, olufoam in Akure. They confused to murdering the father and daughter with motorcycle cables by strangling them to death. They also added that, their act was as a result of tramadol.
The two were sentenced to death by hanging and also sentenced to 7 years imprisonment for conspiracy.
Over the years, there have been stories of security guards, maids and other house-helps k!lling their owners, some are been caught while other go scot free and live their normal life. A clear example is the death of a couple and their only son who got murdered by their driver. The driver after he was arrested revealed that, the cause of his action was as a result of the couple refusing to increase his salary despite driving them for the past 17 years.
