Nigerian musician Burnaboy have joined the list of musicians pouring out heart felt condolence message to South African rapper AKA following his death that occurred on the 10 of February 2023 outside the WISH restaurant.
The rapper was having a wonderful moment with his friends since it was still his birth month, they went to have a haircut at one of the best hair salons of which AKA posted his current location on his instagram story. From there they went over to the wish restaurant for a special meal where they made a toast with AKA telling his best friends Tebello Motsoane “where I go you go”.
Few minutes later, they came out of the restaurant building and AKA was hugging tight to a friend to which we may assume as goodbye when a gun men approached and shot the rapper at close range killing him instantly. He was short along with two others, one identified as his best friend Tebello Motsoane and his bodyguard. AKA and his best friend couldn’t make it and died of injuries sustained in the shooting.
After the incident, celebrities are sending out condolences messages to the grieving family and his loved ones and Nigerian musician and multiple award winning artist Burnaboy has sent out a farewell message to AKA. Taking to his instagram story, Burnaboy posted what seem like a tribute song to the rapper narrating how they met even though they weren’t the best of friends and wished him good farewell.
