Fernando Llorente, a former striker for Juventus, Tottenham, and Napoli, has declared his retirement.
A free agent since the summer, Llorente, 37, joined Eibar in the Segunda Division last year.
He's now made the decision to hang the boots.
"I won't be on the field again, will you?
No, no.
I understand everything now.
I continue to play padel to stay in shape "explained he.
Juventus great Del Piero: I hope Allegri takes Europa League seriously
Juventus great Alex del Piero says they must take the Europa League seriously.
Juve meet Nantes tonight, knowing the Europa League is their only chance of qualifying for next season's Champions League.
Del Piero said: "Juventus is facing off-field challenges, which unfortunately could aggravate their position even further in terms of the final standings." So I believe that Allegri also took a cue from it to give a strong meaning to this cup.
"I'm not saying justify, but say, 'Okay, we had a bad time in the Champions League; we were disastrous.'" But now that we've sorted things out, we are very strong." So it is also a way for the team to say that this is a cup that can be worth much more.
"It is already important, but it can be worth much more." I think it is also a message in this sense. "So to all players and the environment, because it could really represent, in such a difficult season, an important light for the future."
Adani: Inter Milan wrong to ignore Dybala
Former Inter Milan defender Daniele Adan says they blundered not signing Paulo Dybala.

As he was leaving Juventus last summer, Dybala was offered to Inter before eventually signing for AS Roma. '
Adani told Gazzetta dello Sport: "If we want to talk about mistakes on the market, not taking Dybala certainly was and regardless of the the fact that (Romelu) Lukaku has arrived or (Alexis) Sanchez has left.
"Inter are last in Serie A both for both attempted and successful dribbling. The man who goes beyond the scheme is missing, as was also seen against Sampdoria. Having an extra Dybala against opponents closed like a hedgehog can guarantee you the classy play that breaks the game."
