Raphinha names 2 clubs he likes, one of them tried to sign him this winter
In an interview with Andri Contreras on TikTok, Raphinha was asked which teams he supports outside of Spain. The Barcelona winger replied "Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain".
The interesting detail is that the Gunners have been interested in Raphinha for a long time and tried to sign him as soon as January. However, the transfer did not materialize because neither Barca nor Raphinha wanted to part.
The 26-year-old also insisted that he would never play for arch-rivals Real Madrid. Even if the Catalans sell Raphinha, at least we won't reinforce our direct opponent.

Real Madrid may have left him late for the game against Osasuna but they got the job done in the end. Late goals from Federico Valverde and Marco Asensio were enough to help Los Blancos win 3 points and continue to maintain the La Liga title race. It looks like Vinicius Junior also scored but that was dropped by VAR.
One player who made the difference that day was Alvaro, who came on as a late substitute on his La Liga debut for Real Madrid. He has played once at a high level in the past, in a Copa del Rey match against Cacereno. The 18-year-old didn't seem out of place after arriving. On the contrary, he begged to play more often in the future after a difficult display on the bench.
Looks like he provided an assist for Vinicius before being sent off. But then he scored for Asensio.
Real Madrid head coach is ready to negotiate with Raul about young players
Carlo Ancelotti seems to have been impressed with what he has seen from Alvaro and he could have a bigger role in the team in the future. As reported by Marca, the Real Madrid coach said:
“He has a lot of quality, he passes very well when he takes the lead… That can help us. Joining Real Madrid is not easy. He was very focused and made the difference in 10 minutes with two assists. He will help us with the rest. If he stays in the first team, that's something we have to evaluate. We'll talk to Raul.
Real Madrid fans have recently complained that the club has not done a good job of bringing in their young stars, some of whom are highly rated.
Whether that changes with Alvaro remains to be seen. We must highlight the lack of depth in the front line at the moment and the fitness problem of Karim Benzema. So there may be a role for the youngster, if the opportunity arises.
