What actually delayed Christian Atsu Ghana's Goat rescue.

Atsu was born in the Greater Accra Region's Ada Foah. He completed a portion of his education at the West African Football Academy in Sogakope, in the Volta Region of Ghana, which is now located at the former Feyenoord Football Academy in Gomoa Fetteh, in the Central Region of Ghana. Then, he relocated to Kasoa to join Cheetah FC.

Atsu started his professional career with Porto and also spent a year on loan at Rio Ave. He was acquired by Chelsea for £3.5 million in 2013, and after that, the club loaned him to Vitesse Arnhem, Everton, AFC Bournemouth, and Málaga. He signed a permanent switch to Newcastle United in May 2017 after spending the 2016–17 campaign there on loan. He played for Al Raed in Saudi Arabia after his four-year contract expired then for Hatayspor in Turkey, where he was killed at age 31 in the Turkey-Syria earthquake of 2023.

From 2012 to 2019, Atsu played 65 times for Ghana as a full international, including four appearances at the Africa Cup of Nations and the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He assisted the group in placing second at the 2015 Africa Games.

News from Ghana Football association page:

The Ghana Football Association has received the sad news of the recovery of the body of Christian Atsu from the rubble following the earthquake that struck Southern and Central Turkey on Monday, February 6, 2023.

The Ghana Embassy in Turkey, his club Hatayspor and his agent Nana Sechere have confirmed that the body was recovered early this morning, Saturday, February 18, 2023 after almost two weeks of emotional torture.

We would like to express our deepest condolences to his wife and children, the family, loved ones and the football community.

Christian Atsu won 65 caps for Ghana and helped the Black Stars reach the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations final in Equatorial Guinea where Ghana lost to Ivory Coast on penalties.

May his Soul Rest in Peace!

Actually, they finding the place he was stuck was really difficult and also no clue led to his rescue, I deeply express my condolence.

An interview was conducted by MRR_KHAY on UCC campus, a lot of the students @lyricalastro(bleoo), @eleazer(bleoo), Goro (pescoba), couldn't accept the fact he is gone forever.
