Ghanaian musician and politician Kwame Aplus has shared his chat with the late Christian Atsu and have left online users in tears. Atsu was killed in the 7.5 magnitude earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria, he got missing for 8 days and his body was recovered on the 9th day and brought to Ghana for burial.
Yesterday his family and loved ones gathered at the airport awaiting the arrival of his mortal remains. Since his death, his former teammates like Asamoah Gyan, Mubarak wakaso, Didier Drogba, John Terry, and a whole lot have sent out their condolences messages to his family and loved ones.
Politician Kwame Aplus joined the list wishing his best friend a farewell and peaceful rest for all he has done for him. Doing this, he shared a chat between himself and the late Atsu where Atsu asked him to be a leader and lead by example since he would one day lead the country Ghana.
Kwame Aplus posted a screenshot of the chat with the caption;
He sent me this message because I was about five (5) minutes late to a meeting. When I got there, I was informed that he had left not long ago. I tried calling, but he would not answer. About an hour later, I received this message from him. I was so ashamed of myself. He gave it
to me "straight straight". Atsu was a very nice but principled person. Right is right, and wrong is wrong; irrespective of his relationship with you.
Fare thee well, brother.
Atsus message to Aplus reads;
How are you, bro? I left the meeting and I mean no disrespect. I left the meeting because I believe
you are the future president of this country. One day you will rule over 30 million people who are suffering. I didn't expect you to be late If you were to be a normal person I could have stayed there for even 2 hours or more. But you are the future of Ghana Can we reschedule the meeting, please? We have to prepare our future president.
