According to a Twitter user identified as @FolaLagos, a POS agent have been beaten to death in one of the areas of Nigerian after charging too much for a less withdrawal. Most parts of Nigeria rid in a chaotic state now due to the shortage of fuel and scarcity of the naira.

For the past few days, there have been videos circulating online of residents engaging in serious protest, burning banks and other valuable items and properties as a result of the hardship they are currently going through. Inline mostly shared their displeasure in the way these POS agents have taken advantage if the new naira scarcity to charge hiluge charges on withdrawals from users.

A clear example is a member of the popular group Psquare who complained bitterly on his Instagram story narrating how he was over charged by a pos agent. Although the pos agents maybe wrong, but beating him or her to death was a no, most users expressed concern and a few are listed below;

There is no justification for killing him. Simply walk away and not transact with

him.. It's not as if he kidnapped your child or stole

your car or something of graver act!!! We can do better as  Nigerians”.

“The fact that people are angry does NOT justify the act of committing murder. Haba! It's not by force to transact business with him, if you are not okay with it, leave. It's so sad they killed him”.

@udemeanthony7

“Always know when to draw the line, guys

are not smiling anymore, body dey pepper

greeting someone”.

“l am a POS agent, Someone wanted to sell new notes to me 100k for 120k, I refused. If I was bent on "business must go on" I would've collected it and probably charge very high so I can alreast cover my 20k, charges from company and make profit. No be by force to do business now”.
