Prof. Rita Akosua Dickson, the Vice-Chancellor of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), has received recognition from the Ghana Post Company Limited for her services to both academics and the business.
The institution received recognition from the corporation for being one of the nation's top customers for its postal services.
At a brief ceremony to give the Vice-Chancellor a painted picture on Valentine's Day this year, the company's managing director, Bice Osei Kuffour, said the institution had been a devoted customer for the previous 15 years.
He clarified that over the last 15 years, the business has partnered with the institution to sell admission forms and send transcripts to its pupils.
In the Ashanti Region, he said that the institution had continued to be the company's top client.
Several students, according to Mr. Kuffour, had a simple experience purchasing admission papers from Ghana Post, which they also trusted to be the source for their transcripts.

Prof. Dickson responded by thanking the business for the kind gesture and mentioning Ghana Post as a significant supporter of the university.
She emphasized that the corporation had acted as a conduit between the institution and the general public and that the university had not looked back on its association with it.

A related move saw the business bring a painted picture to Lady Julia, the wife of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, through its "Vals On Wheels" campaign.
The "Vals On Wheels" program was initially implemented on February 14–15, 2022, as part of creative methods taken by the corporation to entice Ghanaians to conduct business with it, especially in the delivery-related industries.
For Valentine's Day, the program delivered gifts to customers' doorsteps using corporate leaders and influential people.
The firm utilized Kumawood celebrities, such as Dr. Likee Ebenezer Akwasi Antwi and Matilda Asante, in this year's exercise to present the image to Lady Julia.
The delivery personnel also displayed affection for the Ghana Post brand.
