Christian Atsu is a Ghanaian professional footballer who has played for several prominent football clubs across Europe. He was born on January 10, 1992, in Ada Foah, Ghana. He started playing football from a very young age and eventually turned his passion into a profession. Atsu began his professional football career with Porto FC in Portugal in 2011, and since then, he has played for several clubs across the continent.

During his time at Porto, Atsu was a part of the squad that won the Primeira Liga, the Portuguese Cup, and the UEFA Europa League in the 2010-11 season. He played an instrumental role in the team's success, scoring several crucial goals and providing assists throughout the campaign. His impressive performances in Portugal earned him a move to Chelsea FC in the English Premier League in 2013.

At Chelsea, Atsu struggled to get regular game time due to the club's star-studded squad. He was sent out on loan to several clubs across Europe to gain more playing time and experience. He spent the 2013-14 season on loan at Dutch club Vitesse, where he scored five goals and provided six assists in 28 league appearances.

After his loan spell at Vitesse, Atsu was sent out on loan to Everton FC in the Premier League for the 2014-15 season. He made 13 league appearances for the Toffees, scoring one goal and providing one assist. However, he struggled to cement his place in the team's starting lineup, and his loan was cut short in January 2015.

Atsu was then sent on loan to Spanish club Levante UD for the 2015-16 season. He made 24 league appearances for the club, scoring two goals and providing four assists. Despite his impressive performances, Levante were relegated from La Liga at the end of the season.

After his loan spell at Levante, Atsu returned to Chelsea, but he was once again sent out on loan, this time to Newcastle United in the English Championship. At Newcastle, he was a key player in the team's successful promotion campaign, scoring five goals and providing three assists in 32 league appearances. He helped the Magpies secure a return to the Premier League after a one-year absence.

Atsu's impressive performances at Newcastle earned him a permanent move to the club in 2017. Since then, he has been a regular member of the squad, making over 100 appearances for the Magpies across all competitions. He has scored ten goals and provided nine assists during his time at the club.

Apart from his club career, Atsu has also represented Ghana at the international level. He made his debut for the Black Stars in 2012 and has since gone on to make over 60 appearances for the national team. He has scored ten goals and provided six assists for Ghana, and has been an integral part of the team's success in recent years.

Overall, Christian Atsu has had a successful career in football, playing for several prominent clubs across Europe and representing his country at the international level. Although he has faced several challenges and setbacks along the way, he has shown remarkable resilience and determination to overcome them and continue to thrive in his profession. He is undoubtedly one of the most talented footballers to come out of Ghana in recent years and will continue to be a valuable asset for his club and country for years to come
