ECD Automotive Design has released its most recent one-of-a-kind classic Land Rover Defender builds with a black convertible roof, a gloss Subaru Sunshine Orange paint, and an upgraded LS3 engine. Because it is the 110 model with a longer wheelbase, there is room in the back for side-mounted jump seats, making this the ideal summer off-roader for friends and family.
Under the hood, it has a six-speed automatic transmission, a Borla stainless sport exhaust, and an LS3 V8 engine. We have no doubt that it will be as capable off-road as it is on it, thanks to its power and control, ECD's Air Ride suspension, 16-inch Sawtooth wheels, and BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires.
The so-called Project Pivot is a two-plus-two vehicle with rear jump seats attached to the side of the bed for easier access to gear storage.
A multi-point soft-top roll cage ensures safety while off-roading. Exmoor Modular seats with heated front units make the main seats more comfortable. Garrett Torino Tierra covers the seats and MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, and an ECD custom build covers the center console.
The same orange color is used to paint the grille and inserts, light surrounds, hinges, and vents for the exterior style. For ease of use, the conventional swing-away tire carrier has been removed.
Inside the Project Pivot is a touchscreen infotainment system with built-in Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay, as well as JBL speakers and a subwoofer.Remote start and a backup camera are modern conveniences for the driver, and there are two USB ports for charging and connectivity.
