Nigerian artist wizkid is facing serious backlash from his fans in Nigerian and across the globe. This comes after wizkid was spotted along with Ghanaian artists like Efya Nocturnal, R2bees, King promise, Darkovibes, and others at the funeral celebration of music producer Killbeatzgh.
Nigerians cast their vote over the weekend to elect a new president to serve them for the upcoming eight years since the tenure of the ruling president Muhammadu Buhari is over. We saw celebrities like Mr. P of P-Square, Falz, Davido, Sydney talker, Dr craze, Lamba, and a whole lot of others at their various polling station casting their vote. Wizkid and Burnaboy who are loved by many in the country disappointed their fans after they failed to show to vote to elect a new president who will eventually deliver them from the current hardship.
Videos of Wizkid and r2bees singing and drumming to various jama songs at the funeral of killbeatz's mothers funeral went viral and fans who couldn't control their emotions vent out their anger on social media. Wizkid is yet to respond to all the criticisms or give his fans an explanation whether he voted or not.
In other news, he has also announced his “More love less Ego tour”, tickets are already selling and fans can't wait to witness great performance from the Starboy.
