The ongoing election in Nigeria is raising a whole of controversies across the internet, Nigerians are calling for a change from the bad governance they have been facing for the past eight years now. Most celebrities and citizens are cheering for Peter Obi of the Labour Party to come to deliver them from hardship. They gave him the savior title and urged others to join them to help bring the change they all yearned for.
To mention a few such celebrities supporting Peter Obi of the labor party include, Sabinus (Mr funny), Mr. Macaroni, Nasiru (Nasboi), Dr craze, Chioma Akpotha, Mufasaednut and a whole lot of people. Due to the fact of them showing their support for Peter Obi, they have received a whole lot of threats from thugs over the choice. Nasiru better known as Nasboi posted a screenshot of a chat he had with an online thug who threatened to beat him for leading the masses to vote for Peter Obi.
The latest victim of such an act is comedian Mr. Macaroni. In a post he shared across his social media handles, an email bearing the name and picture of a white man threatened to end his life for voting and campaigning for people to vote against Tinubu. See the post below;
“Omo Ale Yoruba! You have been watched around Lekki Environs. If you survive this year then thank whatever god you are worshipping”.
Mr.Macaroni revealed this post to his fans posted a screenshot of the email he received with the caption
“I'm already used to threats! I have a record of all threats I have received, I also have recorded calls and messages of Powerful politicians and their children that have ever reached out to me!!!
l always said NO! Because as long as I was still dey, There shall be NO COMPROMISE!!!”.
Online users upon seeing the post sent put prayers to the comedian and wished him well. See a few of such comments below;
