The Education Minister, Hon. Dr. Osei Yaw Adutwum has been praised for the numerous policies he has introduced to change the landscape of education in the nation by Hon. Davis Ansah Opoku, the Member of Parliament for the Mpraeso Constituency and the deputy ranking member of the Public Accounts Committee.
The MP said in a statement to the Republic Press that the Education minister's handling of the school selection and placement system (CSSPS) has been quite exceptional and merits some praise. He was speaking during a gift he made to help 50 of the best-performing kids in his area.
The MP denied assertions that the CSSPS has been quite unsatisfactory and potentially presented a lot of issues in terms of the placement system while discussing the system's background.
"I believe that this year has been somewhat successful and unusual. Let me use this opportunity to praise Dr. Osei Yaw Adutwum, Minister of Education. Considering the rules established for the computer placement this year, no one has phoned me to help them with any difficulties.
People accepting money before placement was a problem initially, but as we speak, Mr. Adutwum, the education minister, has streamlined CSSPS operations as a result of his tireless efforts.
His office recently conducted an investigation with the help of various media outlets, which revealed some corrupt activities that were taken on. We must congratulate him and the education system for implementing his creative ideas, which are Mr. President," he said.
The MP promised to assist the first 50 kids who received an overall score of 6 to 15 on their Basic Education Certificate Test last year. 50 students received help the previous year. casecasecasecasecasecasecasecasecasecasecasecasecasecasecasecasecasecasecasecasecasecasecasecasecasecasecasecasecaseday, andday
According to the MP, the goal of this project is to encourage students to perform well on their examinations since they are well aware that the MP will help them if they do.
