How to manufacture your own phone charger

that can charge a cellphone with just a 9V battery. Local Shop: Two bottle caps, an old 9 volt battery, spray paint and connecting wires. Cut a slit in the center of the cap to accommodate the female USB connector. Make a hole in the middle of the second cap. Solder the wires to pin 1 (VDC) and pin 4 (ground) of the USB connector.Insert the USB connector into the bottle cap as shown in the image above and secure with hot glue.

Take the 7805 voltage regulator IC. Solder the Vcc wire from the USB connector to the output connector (pin 3) of the IC 7805. Similarly, solder the Gnd wire to the Gnd connector (pin 2) of the IC 7805 .a hole in the side of the bottle cap.Insert the LED into the hole and secure with hot glue. Connect # 039; -ve' LED foot for Gnd 7805 IC connector. Connect the other leg to the input connector (pin 1) of the 7805 IC. Take the clip from the 9V battery connector and stick it on the surface of the second bottle cap. Note: You can easily remove the connector from your old 9V battery by watching this video.Join '+ve' Battery terminal to the input terminal (pin 1) of the 7805 IC. Connect the -ve battery terminal to the Gnd terminal of IC 7805. After checking all the connections, hot glue the two bottle caps together. Connect the 9V battery to the charger. Plug the USB cable into the USB port and connect it to the mobile phone.

The mobile device starts charging and the backup depends on the quality of the 9V battery. A good quality battery can charge 15-20% of a 3000mAh mobile phone battery. Note: This device can also be used to charge a mobile phone with any 12V wall adapter in an emergency. With a voltage regulator, the 7805 supplies your phone with a regulated 5V. If you missed it, watch the video and find out how I made this mini USB charger at home.I also made a portable emergency charger which is also very useful.
