According to former Tottenham and Chelsea defender Jason Cundy, Manchester United must spend everything it takes to acquire Harry Kane this summer. The England captain has been linked with a move to Manchester United for a while.
Kane might be in line for yet another season at Tottenham without a trophy. In his club career, he has failed to take home any significant awards.
On Wednesday, Sheffield United of the Championship knocked Spurs out of the FA Cup. The only competition Antonio Conte's team can win this season is the Champions League.
To advance in their last-16 match against AC Milan, they must reverse a 1-0 first-leg deficit. United, however, is engaged in three rivalries despite having already won the Carabao Cup on Sunday.
Concerning the acquisition of Casemiro last summer, United was questioned. They agreed to pay up to £70 million to Real Madrid for a player who turned 31 in February.
This summer, Kane will turn thirty. Cundy thinks that even if United overpays for the striker, it would still be worth it, as Casemiro has demonstrated.
On talkSPORT, he stated: "Man United has to bully Spurs in the summer. I've been telling Man United to recruit Harry Kane for the past seven or eight years.
"This was when he was a baby. You could have purchased him for around £25–30 million, after which it would have increased to £50–60 million, then £70–80 million, and finally £90–100 million.
"You have seen Casemiro's potential at £70 million. Who cares that some people claimed they overpaid? I'll tell you right now, Man United are right there, so get Harry Kane

"Man United needs to intervene between the two of them and assert itself, stating, "Look, here's what we've got going on, we've got Ten Hag, here's what you can earn, here's what you can win. Regardless of what Spurs throw at him, Man United will win.
At the end of the upcoming season, Kane's contract with Tottenham expires. He may move to United in the summer.
Gary Neville, a United legend, concurs that he would be the ideal addition to his former team. "I've worked with him and I've stated this before, he will score 30 goals and get 10 or 15 assists, and that's what I predict," he remarked to The Overlap.
"He's a pro, the team will love him, and he'll blend in right immediately. He's a sure thing for Manchester United. If he's going to cost £150 million and is just 30 years old, that investment will be short-lived, but Casemiro, as we all agreed, will cost £60 million up front and £20 million per year for five years, for a total of £170 million."
