Zoomlion Makes a Donation to the Family of Late Christian Atsu.
Zoomlion Ghana Limited has made a cash and item donation to the family of late Black Stars winger Christian Atsu Twasam.
Mrs Gloria Opoku Anti, the Managing Director (MD) of Zoomlion, led a delegation of senior executives from the company to commiserate with the bereaved family at their residence in Ashaley Botwe on Friday, March 3, 2023.
The items, which included 25 cartons of bottled water and two branded waste bins, were donated in support of the late Christian Atsu's one-week commemoration, which was scheduled for Saturday, March 4, 2023, at the Adrigarnor Astro Turf park.
According to Mrs. Opoku Anti, the company's management had come to express their condolences to the bereaved family, stating that "Ghana has suffered greatly."
While lamenting Christian Atsu's death, the Zoomlion MD encouraged the family to find comfort in the fact that Christian Atsu was resting in the bosom of the Lord.
In addition to the donation, Mrs. Opoku Anti assured the family that her organization will handle all sanitation issues prior to, during, and after the one-week observation at the Adjirigarnor Astro Turf park.
She also signed the book of condolences opened for the later Black Stars player.
Mrs Opoku Anti was accompanied by Mrs Adokarley Okpoti-Paulo, Director of Finance and Group CFO of the E&S Group, Mr Prosper Ahey, Human Capital Manager, Mr Eric Osei Annor, and Director of Monitoring and Service Quality, Mr Ernest Kusi.
The delegation also included Mrs Emma Adwoa Appiaa Osei-Duah, Director of Communications and Corporate Affairs, Mr Daniel Ohene Obeng, Assistant Corporate Affairs Manager, and Mr Idris Adam, Communications and Corporate Affairs Officer.

Dr. Daniel good McKorley, Group Chairman of McDan Group and McDan Foundation, has donated 500 bags of Dzata cement to Muslims in Sunyani.
The donation will aid in the completion of their ultramodern mosque, which is currently under construction.
Daniel McKorley also contributed money to the Muslims.
Dr. McKorley stated that the Mosque is one of the largest mosques in the Sunyani Munucipality, where the majority of Muslims worship, as one of the many reasons for his donation.
"When we came here, we saw the project and thought it would be prudent to assist in hastening the process to a successful conclusion," he explained.
He also thanked Allah for protecting him and his family and prayed for good health and prosperity in the coming years.
The Dagomba chief of Sunyani, Naa Alhaji Sulemana Yusif Gangu, who received the items, thanked the Chairman of McDan Group for the gesture.
He stated that he was taken aback by the McDan's act of generosity and thanked him for his kindness, praying that Allah would help him throughout his life.
He stated that the mosque's expansion has been supported by many people, including government employees, private workers, and philanthropists.
He praised McDan's love for all people, regardless of religious or political affiliation, and his unwavering commitment to helping the country grow.
He expressed gratitude to McDan on behalf of the entire Muslim community and prayed for him.
