Sad news trending on social media reveals that an unidentified soldier has been tabbed to death by some gang members of Ashaiman. According to sources, the soldier man was not feeling well at work and was given a pass to go home and rest, on his way it was gathered that he decided to pass at her mum's end since it’s been a while since he saw her, that was when these yet to be identified gangsters approached him stabbed him multiple times leading to his eventual demise.
Pictures of the sad incident have since gone viral. Although the pictures ain’t clear, one could see the soldier man in his soldier's khaki shorts with blood all over his lifeless body. This post has since triggered reactions from online users and has called on the Ghana Armed Forces to launch an investigation and bring the perpetrators to book.
There have similar incidents which are yet to be solved, a clear example is the case of Major Maxwell Mahama, the senior soldier who was posted along with his boys at Denkyira Obuasi to stop galamsey. On his way jogging one morning, he was attacked by a group mob who attacked and beat him to death, although multiple arrests were made, the cause of their actions is yet to be known.
