According to reports, up to 16 players could be sold by Chelsea this summer if they do not sign a new contract with Chelsea this summer.
According to The Telegraph, Chelsea boss Todd Boehly wants Chelsea players whose contracts expire in 2024 and 2025 to sign new long-term contracts with the club or risk being sold this summer.
Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger left Chelsea last summer for Barcelona and Real Madrid as free agents and Boehly is keen to avoid such situations in the future.
Up to 16 Chelsea players are out of contract between 2024 and 2025 and will be affected by Boehly's contract rules at the club.

Antony played the full 90 minutes as United were decimated by their opponents at Anfield in a historic defeat.
The Brazil international, who moved to Old Trafford in a £85m deal this summer, was shown a yellow card in the 53rd minute and former Manchester City defender Richards was unimpressed. with him not supporting Diogo Dalot.
"There was no communication between Dalot and Antony," Richards said of the Day 2 game.
“Sometimes it feels like they're playing with 10 people because Antony doesn't do his job on that side at all. “I don't know if it's tactical or not, Antony's position… I don't know what he's doing.
"I don't know if it's because he's lazy or the coach tells him to stay awake and wait for the counter-attacks.
"If I were Dalot, I'd shout [Antony] to come and help me. When they lose the ball, he'll walk away!
“We're talking about Man Utd's biggest game of the season… He's completely uninhabited. I think he himself did not help his teammates.
Antony has made 13 Premier League appearances for United this season and despite three goals, he is yet to provide his first assist. It is not the first time the 23-year-old has come under fire this term, with Gabriel Agbonlahor calling him a 'charm' and calling his magic tricks 'shameful'.
"When I look at Antony... £85m...I think he's a con man," Agbonlahor said last month.
"I think when he gets the ball, he doesn't face anybody, he doesn't have the speed to face anyone. He also does this trick [trick]... It's bad. tiger and he needs to be vivacious.
