Ghanaian prophet and founder and leader of Prophetic Hill Chapel, Prophet Nigel Gaisie hots back at Ghanaian movie actor now a man of God Majid Michel over comments he made concerning Christians going to church. Majid Michel in an interview on HITZ FM’s “Daybreak Show”, Majid Michel revealed that, although he strongly believes there is a God he hated going to church all his life and still bares that hatred to date. He further added, he will continue to believe in God but will not go to church since he still does not believe in the teaching of the church.
"Since I can remember when I was conscious at
age 6, I knew there was God, nobody had to tell
me there was God”.
Prophet Nigel Gaisie upon chancing on the video decided to add his opinion to Majid’s assertions and condemn his words. According to the prophet, celebrities advising people not to go to church for one reason all the other will only lead many Christians astray because the Bible vividly urges Christians to gather at the feet of the lord. He further added that no one can walk freely in this world without doing some spiritual sort of direction even though humans are flesh.
"The Bible is explicit in Acts 2:42 which says:
They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and prayer,
" he said as he cautioned those who claim
the behavior of some men of God is the reason
they don't go to church.
"Has any man of God died and been resurrected in
order to save you from your sins?" he asked
while banging his hand on the table at the studios
of Power 97.9MHz.
The man of God further urged believers to disregard such comments and focus on worshipping God in truth and spirit because that's the only way one can get salvation.
