A few days ago, news broke about a young who murdered his wife over a heated argument. The couple identified as Ikechukwu Obiora and Ebera is said to have gotten married last year in August and was expecting their first child when this sad incident happened. The culprit who murdered his wife was later picked up by the police for interrogation and questioning as to why he killed her and how he committed the act.
Obiora Ikechukwu revealed that he had a heated argument with his wife on their way back from town and he couldn't control his anger, hence he first slapped her at the gate before they came inside and he went for a knife, stabbed her on the neck and strangled her to death. He was reported to have fled the scene after the incident and was later captured by the police.
"In that anger, I started shouting at her. I first
slapped and hit her from the gate to the house
before angrily grabbing her by the neck and strangling her to death,
"I eventually abandoned the corpse and left out of fear and confusion, after confiding in a few persons who I sought advice on what to do, It was later in the evening that my mother reached out to my wife's family members."
The two couple is said to have been engaged in multiple arguments which always results in Obiora constantly abusing Ebera. The body of the deceased have since been sent to the mortuary for safe keeping and the culprit is in police custody preparing to be arraign to court for further judgment.
After the incident, the family of the deceased according to sources received a call alerting them on the death of their child, they quickly rushed to the house, took her to the hospital and after close examining of the body, the doctors on duty confirmed he was dead.
