In a leaked screenshot fast circulating online, a young man has been served the hottest breakfast after her girlfriend of 7 months found out his full name which he has been hiding for 7 good months. The lady who is yet to be identified texted her best friend who according to the screenshots seen online goes by the name Joy, and revealed to her that, she broke up with her boyfriend after finding out his real name is Bashiru.
The best friend Joy, who seemed surprised by her friend’s flimsy excuse went ahead to ask her if she was being serious with her decision or if it was a joke and went ahead to ask how she got to know his real name. The lady, answering the question revealed that the best friend of the said boyfriend came to visit them after a long separation, and in the course of their excitement he mentioned his full name as “Bashiru”, that was when she got to know his real name was Bashiru. She further added that, when her boyfriend first met her, he told her his real name is “Bash” and he thought “Bash” was a Turkish name hence she decided to accept his proposal not knowing it’s a Ghanaian Muslim name.
She went ahead to tell her best friend who goes by the name “JOY” that, she already broke up with him and just thought she should allow her to know, Joy couldn’t get enough of the funny story her friend was cooking up asked her again if she’s was being for real by breaking up with someone she loved so much because of his name. She reply yes and asked me to talk to her later. Upon the leak of the screenshots, social media is on fire with people sharing various opinions as to why someone will break up with somebody over a name he or she bares.
