Ghanaian musician King promise rains praise on celebrated Ghanaian rapper Michael Owusu Addo better known as Sarkodie. King promise is undoubtedly one of the best high-life and afrobeat artists in Ghana. He came to the limelight in 2017 and released his biggest song “Oh yeah” he has also released a couple of smash hits such as “Abena, CCTV, selfish, Tokyo, Bra, My lady, Sisa, and among others. He is currently signed under Legacy Life Entertainment, a record label owned by Ghanaian music producer and sound engineer born Joseph Kwame Addison better known as Killbeatz.
King promise in one of his interviews revealed that he is very grateful to Sarkodie for his success because it was Sarkodie who discovered him and connected him to big people in the Ghanaian music industry and today he is a household name. King Promise has won the hearts of many with his indigenous style of music and rhythm, he is mostly cherished by females due to the lyrics of his songs which his mostly about love.
Sarkodie along with the compozers organized a show in London and it was a sold-out show, the show lasted for two days and it was all sold out, among the surprise artists Sarkodie billed was King promise and in excitement, while Sarkodie was having a haircut, King promise who looked at Sarkodie with admiration tapped him on the shoulder and thanked him for discovering him and making him who he is today. the first day he saw and listened to some of his unreleased songs that he would be a star so it's no new to him.
King promise upon his success has worked with some bigger acts in Nigeria and Ghana's music industry, some of these artists include Sarkodie, Wizkid, Kojo Antwi, Darkovibes, R2bees, Medikal, and many more. He has also been able to organize his show dubbed the “promise land” which comes off every December. He recently released his 5 start album and the album received good remarks and made waves he went on tour with sold-out venues.
