Tesla CEO and current owner of the popular microblogging platform Twitter mocks a sacked employee. In late 2022, Elon musk purchased Twitter for a whopping $44 billion and made a reshuffle as per him, there was a lot of corruption going behind the curtains. In the process of this reshuffle, he laid off most of the workers and employed new ones. Those who were affected by the mass laying off can to Twitter to express their discomfort but Elon musk who has a way of managing his affairs paid no attention to them.
In a new Twitter post, a Twitter user and a self-acclaimed Twitter employee identified as @iamharaldur called out to Elon musk revealing that, he was logged out of his work computer meaning he has automatically been sacked. Elon musk replied to the user asked what his problem was and the conversation between them below;
@iamharaldur •
Dear @elonmusk 9 days ago the access to my work computer was cut, along with about 200 other Twitter employees. However, your head of HR is not able to confirm if I am an employee or not. You've not answered my emails. Maybe if enough people retweet you'll answer me here?
@elonmusk
What work have you been doing?
@iamharaldur
I would need to break confidentiality to answer this question here. If you have your lawyers share in writing that I can do that then I'd be happy to
discuss that openly!
@elonmusk
It's approved, you go ahead
@iamharaldur
Among others:
- led the effort to save about $500k on one
SaaS contract. Supported closing down
many others
- led prioritization of design projects across
the company to make sure we were able to
deliver with a small team
@elonmusk
Which SaaS contract exactly? Prioritization of what design projects?
Figma.
All active design projects.
Elon Musk ended the conversation and replied with a laughing emoji, this reply got social media users reacting to why Elon Musk would mock an employee who is currently depressed after he was sacked for no reason.
