Liverpool want to be informed about the situation of Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot
According to 90min (h/t Liverpool Echo), Liverpool have asked to be informed about the contract situation of Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
The France international, whose current contract with the Serie A giants expires this summer (Transfermarkt), has yet to sign a new contract. The Mirror reports that he wants to play in the Champions League, and that is how his future will be decided.
In addition to Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in the former Paris-Saint Germain midfielder. United agreed terms to sign him in August, but the move fell through. Adrien Rabiot in Juventus shirt.

Rabiot was one of France's stars in their journey to the World Cup final. The 27-year-old is also in fine form for Juventus, with seven goals and two assists in 29 appearances from midfield.
The Frenchman is a ball-controlled central midfielder who likes to run forward with or without the ball and control the tempo of the game. He displayed an intense run in the center of the park, which is what a Jurgen Klopp midfielder needs to do to quell his opponents.
So while Liverpool could make a midfield overhaul in the next summer transfer window, they could ignore Rabiot. He's a very good player, but maybe he doesn't fit into Klopp's system at all.

We know the Reds are primarily linked with Jude Bellingham, while more likely to sign Mason Mount and Matheus Nunes.
With that, we see that the development of Harvey Elliott and Stefan Bajcetic is going well. With a full season, they can play regularly next season.
Thus, these two, along with three potential new midfielders and a few seniors (like Fabinho, Jordan Henderson and Thiago Alcantara) would make for an excellent midfield team.
