The first Automotive Summit will be held by the Automobile Assemblers Association of Ghana on March 20, 2023, at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Convention Centre (AICC).
The summit's subject, "Building A New Economic Backbone for Ghana and The Sub-Region," will provide top industry executives and specialists the chance to examine the most recent developments, difficulties, and possibilities in the automotive sector.
The summit will be held in tandem with an exhibition of more than 20 vehicle types made locally in Ghana by AAAG members.
"We are honoured to serve as the host of this first summit, which will examine the future of the automotive industry and the technologies and ideas that will influence it. As a nation, this will provide us with the chance to do so.

Volkswagen Ghana, Japan Motors, Rana Motors, Kantanka Automobile, Silverstar Ghana, and Stallion Group Toyota-Tsusho Corporation are some of the members of AAAG. Toyota Ghana and CFAO Motors Ghana are associate members.
Hundreds of senior-level attendees from the whole industry, including car manufacturers, component manufacturers, engineers, the government, the financial sector, insurance, international organisations, and the media, will attend the event.
A local used vehicle market's development, standards, component manufacture, retail, auto finance, insurance, and other important topics for the automobile sector will all be covered in the panel talks.
Senior executives from automakers, legislators, and several subject matter experts from the automotive and related sectors are among the speakers.
The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), the Secretariat of the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry are proud sponsors of this conference.
This event, which is only open to those who have been invited, is also anticipated to give participants insightful information and chances to network with other industry professionals.
