The Day Show with Berla Mundi gives people the platform to share their stories and inspire others. It has a segment called B.You Question of the Day where anyone from the audience can ask Berla questions. In one of her episodes, a lady asked, "How do you distinguish between what to put on social media and what is just meant to be for you?"
She responded, "I always decide what's work and what's private. So I never put it out. Do I want my private stuff out? No, never. So if you noticed, for my social media, everything I do is about work. If it comes to my private life, I'm sure you don't even know where I live. You don't know what my house looks like. You probably don't know the car I drive. You need to make the conscious effort to separate that from your work."

According to Berla, these things are good for your own security as well. She continued to list three questions you need to ask yourself before you post something. Do I want this out? What kind of reactions am I going to get from people and will I be happy with that reactions? Will I be happy that my security to some extent has also been put out there and jeopardized? If your answer to these questions is NO, then you don't have to put it out.
Berla concluded, "Not everyone on social media is necessarily happy about your life and your progress so always be conscious." She is advising the public to keep private moments from social media.
