Yesterday, Ashaiman was the topic of town after a gang living in the area attacked a young soldier identified as Imoro beat him and stabbed him multiple times leading to his eventual death. After his death, there have been two accounts spreading online, the first one suggests that he was very sick when he reported working on the 5th of march, 2023, and was given a pass by his superior to go home and rest. On his way home, he decided to pass by the house of his mum to see her since it’s been a while since he saw her. On his way back from his mother's house, the said thugs attacked him, beat him, and stabbed him in the neck, stomach, and waist which eventually led to his demise.
The second account also suggests that, on his way back from work, he passed by his girlfriend's house to visit her, on his way from the house that was when the thugs of about at least four people attacked him and stabbed him countless times leading to his eventual death. Although these two accounts have not yet been confirmed what is clear now is that he was attacked by thugs. His colleague at work today the 7th of march 2023, stormed the Ashaiman community and disciplined all the youth they got hands on. Videos have been trending online of the maltreatment the soldiers made the civilians pass through, while some were made to kneel and took strokes of canes others were also made to roll in muddy waters. The soldier stormed the Ashaiman community in armored cars and helicopters.
Stonebwoy who is from Ashaiman has broken his silence and condemned the actions of his people for murdering the young soldier and also condoned the act of the soldiers for taking matters into their own hands. Read stonebwoy’s post below;

the news of what's going on in my beloved
Ashaiman. I unequivocally condemn all acts of
violence and lawlessness, whether it relates to
the brutalization of innocent civilians or the unlawful
killing of a member of the armed forces. May all
those culpable be found out and made to face
the lawfully”?
After breaking his silence, some youth of the Ashaiman community who were not satisfied with Stonebwoy’s statement he released took to official instagram Dm and expressed their frustration and anger on the musician. In a voice note posted online, they attacked stonebwoy and called him a “fearoo” for failing to stand with his people. The unidentified speaking in the voice note also ordered stonebwoy to come for his share of the beatings since he’s also from Ashaiman.
