Sad news reaching my desk of me has it that, am artist manager based in London was attacked and killed by three assailants over a fake patek watch which the three assailants suspected it to be worth over £300,000 a court was briefed. The victim identified as Emmanuel Odunlani, 32 was out celebrating his birthday near the St.paul cathedral in London when he was allegedly targeted by these assailants in May last year. According to multiple sources, it was a security guard hired at the Haz restaurant that the last Emmanuel visited that tipped off these three assailnats.
The security Kavindu Hettiarachchi who was later arrested by security officials had a collection ction f fake high value watches when officials raided his home. He told attackers that, the victim was wearing a Patek watch and if it was original, it could be worth around £300,000 making the attackers more aggressive to forcefully take the watch from the late Emmanuel at all costs. Me. Hettiarachchi is currently facing trial for participation in the murder of the late Emmanuel Odunlani.
Vandrose, 26, from Thornton Heath, Menzies, 26,
from Kilburn, and Ffrench, 27, from Tottenham,
have pleaded guilty to robbery and Menzies has
also pleaded guilty to manslaughter. They deny
murder.
According to eyewitnesses, the security guard, Mr. Hettiarachchi upon seeing the late Emmanuel in his white Mercedes and the supposed expensive Patek, took out his phone to film the deceased and was seen typing something on his phone, giving a clear idea that he was alerting the assailants at that particular time.
The sudden demise of Emmanuel Odunlani has left many heartbroken, especially the music industry and the artists he used to manage. On the day of his eventual death, he had driven in his white Mercedes Benz to London to celebrate his birthday with a few friends, organized tables selling for £1,400.
May his soul rest in peace and may his assailants be brought to justice.
