'The Glazers would rather go back to Greenwood':

United fans react to summer target fee rumors

Man United will have to pay 120 million euros to sign Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani, according to Bild.

However, Sky Sports' Florian Plettenberg was unable to confirm the allegation and said Victor Osimhen was higher in the pecking order of their strike targets.

Muani is in impressive form for Frankfurt this season, scoring 16 goals and providing 14 assists in all competitions.

However, United fans could not accept the huge price paid for him - as they reacted to the rumors on Reddit.

Xian123:

"120 for Muani is a fucking joke, man. I guarantee the Glazers will return to Greenwood and not do this."

Shami Kebab:

"He opted for a free transfer last year, there's certainly no way we'd pay such stupid fees."

"It was a big scam for Muani, he was at most 50 million euros."

rig 123:

"Clubs see us a mile away. If you have a striker under 23 playing regularly anywhere outside England, he will cost more than £80m."

"The Bundesliga is a totally rigged tournament that won't go over 50 million for me, it's dropping money on Osimhen or rolling the dice on Evan Ferguson."

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp could get rid of seven players this summer to satisfy Rio Ferdinand's transfer request.

Fabinho

Liverpool news:

Fabinho has struggled with form this season

Liverpool could drop some stars this summer to boost wages and salaries for new signings. Rio Ferdinand thinks it is important that Jurgen Klopp signs a number of players who are willing, as well as pursuing a deal for Jude Bellingham.

Liverpool will end their title-free season after leaving the Champions League against Real Madrid on Wednesday. Then, Ferdinand claimed that it was time for Klopp to sign established stars who could start as soon as they joined. The expert said on BT Sport:

"We talk about previous seasons, in the last two seasons they didn't bring in anyone who could come in and change the squad. These are players that need time to build themselves into the first team and became a regular player at some point. None of the three remained regular in the first team."

Club owner FSG is trying to find new investment at Anfield, but the departure of seven first-team players will also help raise funds. Express Sport is considering who could leave Liverpool.

Fabinho

The Brazilian has had a really disappointing season. He established himself as one of the best midfielders in Europe during his first four seasons at Merseyside. But he has been the shadow of this player this season. At 29, Fabinho is still an age that could make European teams want to sign him.

Joe Gomez

Gomez is another player who has endured a difficult campaign. He is only used in the absence of Ibrahima Konate and Joel Matip.

However, he did not reach the level he showed earlier in his Liverpool career when given the opportunity. Changing the environment can be good for the 25-year-old.

The Jones academy alum has struggled to get game time this season. He struggled with injuries but made just 12 appearances in all competitions.

If Klopp signs a bunch of new centre-backs, there may be no place for Jones in his plans. At the age of 22, he can attract significant compensation. Nat Phillips

Phillips will never be a regular in the Liverpool squad. He could leave in January but Virgil van Dijk and Konate's injuries have paid off for that.

West Ham have previously been linked with a move for Phillips. He still has more than two years left on his contract and could therefore earn a substantial fee.

Three out of contract

Naby Keita, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are all out of contract this summer. Neither Keita nor Oxlade-Chamberlain are likely to get a contract extension, while Milner turned 37 in January.

This could be a good time to make room on the payroll by letting all three players go. Roberto Firmino is ready to leave when his contract expires in June.
