Tottenham prepare incredible bid to attract former Arsenal star who sang songs against Spurs - report
Tottenham Hotspur's director of football Fabio Paratici is said to be interested in acquiring former Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny. According to Calciomercatoweb (via HITC), Spurs are preparing to reshuffle their goalkeeper ahead of next season.
According to the Italian newspaper, Tottenham could be willing to spend 20 million euros in transfer fees to get the services of the former Arsenal goalkeeper from Juventus this summer. More importantly for Szczesny, Paratici is said to be willing to pay the goalkeeper £120,000 a week to convince him to join Tottenham.
However, given his ties to Arsenal in the past, Tottenham are unlikely to lure Szczesny to their north London side. The goalkeeper is known to have sung songs against Spurs in the past while playing against city rivals in London.
Szczesny made over 100 Premier League appearances for the Gunners during his time in London. Furthermore, it is rumored that the Juventus goalkeeper has turned down Tottenham's offer to join them during the January transfer window.

Tottenham are said to be keeping a close eye on Lecce midfielder Morten Hjulmand as they aim to strengthen their squad during the summer transfer window. However, recent reports indicate that the Dane may want to move to North London rivals Arsenal. In fact, he is said to have a tattoo of the Premier League leaders on his shoulder.
Spurs have been left with a lack of options in midfield due to injury, necessitating the addition of new talent to midfield. According to Italian outlet Calciomercato (via Football365), they have been tracking Hjulmand a lot, with Borussia Dortmund also keeping an eye on the player.
Roma and Juventus have also expressed interest in the creative midfielder. The price Lecce set for their star property is said to be 15 million euros. Since joining Lecce from Austrian side Admira Wacker in 2021, Hjulmand has made 80 league appearances. He also has 11 caps for the Denmark U21 team at international level.
However, when asked about his future, Hjulmand refused to be drawn into negotiations, noting that his interest was in helping Leece progress. He said (via Football365):
"I'm not thinking about it at the moment, I'm focused on Lecce and I don't read newspapers."
