Simba SC is reportedly interested in Asante Kotoko striker Steven Mukwala, according to sources in Tanzanian media.

According to the report, Simba SC is negotiating a deal with the Ghanaian powerhouses to buy the former Vipers FC striker for about $150,000.

After leaving Ugandan side URA FC and joining Asante Kotoko on a free transfer, Steven Dese Mukwala has excelled for the squad. This season, the 23-year-old has made 22 appearances in all competitions and scored 10 goals—eight in the Premier League, two in the FA Cup, and five assists—while recording eight goals.

Due to his impressive performance in the Ghana Premier League, the striker has been called up to the senior national team of Uganda for the doubleheader of 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Tanzania.

With 57 points after 24 games, Simba SC is presently second in the Tanzania Premier League. Augustine Okrah, a former Bechem United striker, is a member of the Simba team.

With an assist, Kwame Poku helps Peterborough United defeat Lincoln City.

On Saturday afternoon in English League One, Peterborough United defeated Lincoln City 3-0 with a help from Ghanaian Kwame Poku.

Posh scored in the 28th minute thanks to Nathanael Ogbeta's intercepted pass, foray into the box, and cross that Harrison Burrows deflected and skillfully dummied, allowing Clarke-Harris to slam home.

Unexpectedly, Jack Taylor drove hard into the penalty area before launching a left-footed shot. The ball was deflected well past the defenseless goaltender.

A straightforward pass from the replacement Kwame Poku and a Clarke-Harris flick from a throw-in set up Joe Ward's goal with seven minutes remaining.

With 60 points after 37 games in English League One, Peterborough United is ranked seventh. Derby County will be the opponent for Peterborough United's following league match.

In the 79th minute, Ephron Mason-Clarke took the place of Kwame Poku.
