TOP 10 YOUNG PLAYERS WHO MADE THEIR PREMIER LEAGUE DEBUT IN 2022/23

The 2022/23 Premier League season saw the rise of many young football talents. Despite their young age, these players have shown they have what it takes to succeed on football's biggest stage.



Here are some of the young players who have played in the Premier League this season;




10. Facundo Buonanotte – Brighton (18)


The young Argentine made his Premier League debut for Brighton on 4 February 2023 as a substitute in a 1–0 win over Bournemouth.





9. Alejandro Garnacho – Manchester United (18 years old)


Although only 18 years old, Alejandro Garnacho has become an important player in coach Erik Ten Hag's squad. The Argentinian winger has featured prominently for the Red Devils this season.




8. Stefan Bajcetic – Liverpool (17)


Stefan Bajcetic is a Liverpool academy graduate who has played for the Reds in the Premier League this season after impressing Jurgen Klopp in training.




7. Kobbie Mainoo – Manchester United (17)


Kobbie Mainoo is another promising youngster from Manchester United's academy who has played in the Premier League. He came on as a second-half substitute in a 3-0 win over Leicester City at Old Trafford.




6. Rico Lewis – Manchester City (17)


Rico Lewis is an exciting young talent who has received praise from Pep Guardiola. The Spaniard made his Premier League debut on 13 August 2022 when Lewis came on for Kyle Walker against Bournemouth. 5. David Ozoh – Crystal Palace (17)


David Ozoh became the youngest player to appear for Crystal Palace in the Premier League when he came on as a substitute in a 0–0 draw with Newcastle on 21 January 2023.




4. Luke Harris – Fulham (17)


The young Welsh midfielder made his Premier League debut on 20 October 2022, when he came on as a substitute in Fulham's 3-0 win over Aston Villa at Craven Cottage.




3. Bobby Clark – Liverpool (17)


Bobby Clark made his Premier League debut for Liverpool as a substitute in a 9-0 win over Bournemouth at Anfield on 27 August 2022.




2. Ben Doak – Liverpool (17)


Ben Doak became the youngest Scottish player to play in the Premier League as a substitute in Liverpool's 3-1 win over Aston Villa.




1. Ethan Nwaneri – Arsenal (15)


Nwaneri made history by becoming the youngest player to play in the Premier League. He broke that record when he replaced Fabio Vieira in Arsenal's 3–0 win over Brentford on 18 September 2022.
