'Sign him for this interview alone' - Man United fans loved Marcel Sabitzer’s ice-cold interview after win over Fulham

Manchester United fans loved Marcel Sabitzer's 'cold' post-match interview following his side's win over Fulham in the FA Cup.

Sabitzer scored in United's 3-1 win over Fulham as they progressed to the semi-finals of the tournament.

He made it 2-1 when he brilliantly brought in a Luke Shaw pass in the 77th minute, scoring his first goal for the club since being on loan from Bayern Munich in January.

But Man United supporters want him at Old Trafford next season and beyond after showing his elite mentality in a post-match interview.

The Austrian midfielder wowed fans online when speaking to ITV after the team's national cup win, insisting United deservedly progress to the FA Cup despite Fulham's outburst. "Bold win. We want to go back to Wembley. It's tough and tough, but it's a good win," he said.

When asked by a reporter whether Man United won or Fulham lost, he replied:

“We won it. Why not ? We scored three goals, they scored one. We are focused and have focused.

"I think we deserved to win. We missed chances. In the second half we were 1-0 down but like I said, we came back and that's the important thing. best."

On scoring his first Manchester United goal, he added:

"Big. I'm very happy. Something important. Now I'm very, very happy."

Man United fans on social media loved the way Sabitzer performed in his post-match interview.

One Twitter user urged:

"Sign him for this interview alone."

One second wrote:

"The way he said 'we won'. I love that guy."

A third tweet:

“The AF is cold. To like."

The fourth said:

"I like the way he responds."

Another added:

"I love this guy! Sign him up permanently."

The 29-year-old has made nine appearances in all competitions after arriving, scoring once.
