The club are now identifying a £35m replacement for the Liverpool and Man United target, who are set to leave
Liverpool and Manchester United received another boost in their pursuit of Mason Mount respectively as Chelsea found a replacement.
What is the story?
Yes - according to ESPN - Jürgen Klopp and Erik ten Hag are interested in signing the England international, with his contract only lasting 12 months at the end of the season.
There has been a significant development recently with Mount hiring Neil Fewings as his new agent, Fabrizio Romano adding that Chelsea's number 19 is "most likely going" this summer.
Now the Blues are considering a move for Andreas Pereira as they begin their hunt to replace the Liverpool and Manchester United target - again according to ESPN. In that respect, it looks like Mount's 18-year stint at Stamford Bridge is coming to an end.
ESPN believes Fulham values ??Pereira between £25m and £35m, with Paris-Saint Germain and Atlético Madrid also interested in signing the Brazil international.

The South American is said to be happy at Craven Cottage but will be hard pressed to turn down one of Europe's top teams.
Pereira has scored two goals - and has also provided six assists - in 27 Premier League appearances this season.
Liverpool confidently beat MU before Chelsea's Mount
Liverpool are believed to believe Mount will be tempted by a move to Anfield if he leaves west London at the end of the season, with contract talks currently proving fruitless between him and Chelsea. 90min believes Klopp is confident of beating Manchester United - as well as Newcastle and Manchester City - to sign the attacking midfielder this summer as he aims to rejuvenate his midfield division.
Only time will tell for sure where Mount will be, but the fact that Chelsea are looking to replace the Cobham graduate suggests they are not overly optimistic about keeping him.
