Prior to the international break, Arsenal leads the Premier League standings by eight points, with a crucial match against Manchester City scheduled for next month.

Erling Haaland, a striker for Manchester City, has been left off Norway's roster for their forthcoming international matches against Georgia and Spain. The 22-year-old attacker has a groin injury, and depending on how serious it is, he may be out for a few weeks.

Even with their intense title competition with Arsenal, Guardiola's team must still contend with the FA Cup and Champions League. With only 10 games left, the Arsenal must concentrate on the Premier League.

The gap between the leaders and the defending champions might be reduced to just five points by the end of April because they have a game in hand on Arsenal. Football.london examines the contests Haaland would be forced to miss if he has a grade 3 groin injury.

Premier League - April 1st, Liverpool (H).

Premier League - Saturday, April 8, Southampton (A)

Champions League - Bayern Munich (H) - Tuesday, April 11 (Grade 1 injury return date - three weeks)

On April 15, Leicester City (H) will play in the Premier League.

Champions League - Wednesday, April 19 - Bayern Munich (A)

On April 22, Sheffield United (H) will play in the FA Cup.

Premier League - Wednesday, April 26 - Arsenal (H)

Premier League - Sunday, April 30 - Fulham (A)

Before to City's match against Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, April 1, Haaland has returned home from the national team and has found the news of his injury to be "hard." Erling [Haaland] took it hard when he learned he couldn't fight for the team, according to Norway manager Stale Solbakken.

"Fortunately, this club still has a lot of talent, confidence, and unity to perform well in the upcoming games. We won't give up and will keep working to be as prepared as possible for Saturday and Tuesday.

Haaland might not play against the Seagulls either, depending on when City's Premier League match against Brighton is postponed because of their FA Cup semifinal match against Sheffield United. The Norwegian will only be able to return to action on Tuesday, May 2, if he has sustained a grade 3 groin injury, which could keep him out of action for up to six weeks. This won't be known until the assessment and diagnosis are complete.
