Cristiano Ronaldo known by most football fans as the greatest player in history has finally spoken on his departure from Manchester United. All football fans are familiar with the Piers Morgan interview with Cristiano Ronaldo which seriously went against Manchester United leading to him being sacked by the club.
Before that Ronaldo was in Juventus and as he promised joins his former club Manchester United to continue their never ending relationship which was cut short after the interview. His next club was a mystery but finally got announced he would be joining his new side Al-Nassr making him the most paid player in football history. Since then Ronaldo has kept silence on issues relating to him and Manchester United but finally opened up following an interview on their international break duty since he would be representing Portugal in the Euro’s.
Ronaldo in the interview said “When we’re at the top of the mountain, it’s hard to see what’s down there and many times I couldn’t” proving how disappointed he is in the board, manager and staff of Manchester United football club. Cristiano Ronaldo’s reputation according to most has been dented due to his expose of his former club. But it seems Cristiano is just getting started, as it stands now Ronaldo hasn’t been seen with any of his United teammates being Bruno Fernandez.
Fans are worried if the issue hasn’t dented their friendship because in a different interview Ronaldo said “Now he knows who his true friends are” fans are in a haste to see what he means could it be Bruno or the United board. The answer is still not known by football fans. Ronaldo would be in action tomorrow but it hasn’t been confirmed yet if he would be starting or not because Portugal’s new head coach has some choices to make on selecting Ronaldo or Ramos first to play since he has also delivered in international and club levels as well. Ronaldo said, “ Gonçalo Ramos? He has had an extraordinary and exceptional season. It’s always good to see players grow, we need that for Portugal.” making him a true leader
