TOP 5 Premier League clubs most punished by FA for poor discipline this season
After Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic was sent off for shoving referee Chris Kavanagh last week, more attention has been drawn to abusive behavior by match officials.
In competitive matches where emotions run high, it is understandable that some players may lose their minds, but Mitrovic's behavior is never tolerated.
Unfortunately, many Premier League teams have been accused of disciplinary problems this season.
Click the next page as we list the five clubs that have been fined the most by the FA.
5) Nottingham Forest – £73,000

With a rotation of players from the Midlands club over the summer, Forest did much better than expected after being promoted from the Championship. While still in the relegation battle, coach Steve Cooper tried to build a team capable of delivering results, especially at home.
However, it seems that he has not mastered the discipline of the team. With so many signatures, it may not be easy for your message to reach everyone.
4) City of Manchester - £75,000

As we went through this list, you would think that a team's ability to maintain discipline has a lot to do with the behavior of their manager.
Pep Guardiola is not known for his discipline on the touchline, opposing referees and gesticulating when decisions don't go his way. It is not entirely surprising that Guardiola's players are inspired by him, and that has resulted in substantial fines for their conduct towards the referee.
3) Everton - £115,000
Everton
The Toffees have had two different managers this season so it's hard to blame Frank Lampard or Sean Dyche for their lack of discipline.
Even so, it was not always the case that Everton players behaved properly with match officials. Partly due to the pressure of the relegation battle.
However, neither Southampton nor Bournemouth have been penalized for failing to test their players this season, so that cannot be used as an excuse. 2) Manchester United - £137,000

Erik ten Hag has certainly brought more advantages to the job since being appointed head coach of the Reds in the summer.
While Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was seen as soft and Ralf Rangnick was disrespectful in the dressing room, ten Hag managed to get the team on his side.
On the surface, however, his players' new streak has seen them go over the limit too many times.
1) Arsenal - £185,000
Arteta
If any team is the mirror image of the coach, it's this Arsenal team. Mikel Arteta (like his mentor Pep Guardiola) is a very enthusiastic figure on the touchline. Although the Spaniard is clearly competitive and wants to win at all costs, he has too often crossed the line; even with confrontations with officials and opposition leaders.
Obviously, his players are following his example, and the Gunners are by far the club most punished for their misconduct this season.
