I spent three years at Man City without ever speaking to Pep Guardiola or meeting a single team-mate, says Spurs star

But he has to be patient to get his chance in the Premier League after being knocked out at Manchester City.
He joined The Citizens in 2019 but was reportedly not ready for the first team and was loaned out to Real Valladolid and Sporting Lisbon.
Porro, 23, revealed he had never even trained at the club and when asked if he had spoken to Guardiola in his interview with The Guardian, he replied:
"No no nothing. "They told my agent and we looked for [a place to go]. I wasn't there at all. I wasn't even training. Nothing was said to me directly.
“You don't feel important. And it's hard. You are there but you are not there. I take it as a [sign] that I have to grow up and go my own way. It's not just a big club, I'm small too.
“When I left City for Valladolid, it was a slap in the face because I was so young. “City wanted to sign me a long-term contract but decided to loan me out to mature in professional football because I had only played a year at Girona.
Porro felt unable to get ahead of Kyle Walker and Joao Cancelo in the dissection order at Man City, but performed well for Sporting.
But he failed to impress former Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood on his first appearance for Spurs, as the pundit criticized his defensive weaknesses.
sherwood says:
"I don't want to pursue the child anymore, but he needs to be released from his duties at this time.
“I doubt him because this is his debut but Pedro Porro is unbelievably bad.
"His position is disgusting, Barnes and Maddison are destroying him on the left side."
