The race for the Premier League Golden Shoe this season is gradually taking shape when the season is only a few matches away from the end.
Manchester City Player of the Year Erling Haaland remains the favorite to win the prestigious award in his first season in the EPL.
Haaland has had an impressive start since joining City from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2022.

The Norwegian opened fire with all his might, with his acumen in front of goal scoring a stunning 28 goals in England's top flight.
Haaland leads the scoring charts ahead of three-time Tottenham Hotspur Golden Boot winner Harry Kane.
Kane catches up with Haaland
Despite Spurs' struggles on and off the pitch, Kane has maintained the impressive form typically seen under Antonio Conte.
The England international has scored 21 league goals this season to come second in the scoring charts.
Kane is just seven goals behind Haaland and will want to add to his list after the international break. Meanwhile, Brentford superstar Ivan Toney is third with 16 goals, while Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford is fourth with 14 goals.
Although Arsenal top the Premier League table, their top scorer, Gabriel Martinelli, is only 5th in the table.
The Brazilian forward has been in incredible form this season, scoring 14 Premier League goals.
