Amad Diallo, a talented young player from Manchester United, has stated his desire to advance with Sunderland after succeeding while on loan there this year.
The 20-year-old has had a productive year at the Stadium of Light, where he has played in 29 Championship games and scored nine goals.
In their first season back in England's second level, his exploits have helped the Black Cats climb to 11th in the Championship table, and have sparked discussion of a possible promotion challenge.
They are only seven points out of the play-off positions, and Diallo has said the Tyneside club is capable of making it to the Premier League.
The club has a long history, Diallo stated in a statement to United's club media. It was previously in the Premier League, and I hope it returns there for the upcoming campaign.
"The staff, the team, and the players all put a lot of faith in me, and I try my best to repay the faith shown by the club on the field."
'At the beginning of the season, my goal here was to score 10 goals. I'd like to score more goals now.
But I also want to get this squad into the Premier League because, although I know it will be challenging, I always tell myself that nothing is impossible.
With nine league goals this season, he is second on Sunderland's all-time scoring list for his outstanding services to the club.
He has contributed two assists for the Black Cats this season in addition to his goals, and Sunderland manager Tony Mowbray has taken notice of the improvement in his all-around game.
He is capable of playing wide, inside, and deep, according to Mowbray, who spoke to MUTV. "You know, I believe he can play center midfield for us in the Championship."

"I attend United games and observe a lot of football, and Bruno [Fernandes] can play deep and link the midfield up. He can also play off the right wing occasionally, inside as a 10 or a running 8. Amad plays football in a same manner.
At United, Fernandes has had a similarly significant season, making 25 league games and scoring five goals and six assists.
He also participated in the full ninety minutes of their 2-0 victory over Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final earlier this month.
The Portugal midfielder for United played practically the whole recent 4-0 victory over Liechtenstein in their Euro 2024 qualifying game.
