Here are the top 10 players who played the most games for their national team in football history.


1. Cristiano Ronaldo - The Portuguese striker has made 197 appearances for the national team since 2003, scoring 120 goals. He scored twice in a 4–0 win over Liechtenstein in a UEFA Euro qualifier.


2. Bader Al- Mutawa - The Kuwaiti striker has made 196 appearances for the Kuwait national team since 2003. He has scored 56 goals since.



3. Soh Chin Ann - Retired Malaysian midfielder who played 195 matches for the national team from 1969 to 1984. 4. Ahmed Hassan - Retired Egyptian midfielder played 184 matches for the national team between 1995 and 2012. During that time, he scored 33 goals.



5. Ahmed Kano - Omani central defensive midfielder who played 182 matches for the national team between 2003 and 2019.
