Pedri plans to stay at Barcelona for 'many years to come' but will not rule out a move to the Premier League.

Since joining Barca's first team, the 20-year-old has been a discovery, establishing himself as a key player for the La Liga leaders.

Pedri won the FIFA Golden Boy award for the best young player in Europe in 2021 and quickly established himself in the Spain squad.

The young conductor has a contract with the Blaugrana until 2026 and has no intention of leaving at this point, although he has hinted that he may work abroad in the future.

When asked about the possibility of a move to England, he was quoted by Marca as saying:

"Not now. I am at Barça and I hope to stay here for many more years.

"I love La Liga, but nothing should be ruled out."

Pedri will miss Spain's Euro 2024 qualifiers against Norway and Scotland with a hamstring injury but is enjoying a new era for the national team under Luis de la Fuente.

Having played for De la Fuente at Under-21 level and at the Tokyo Olympics, Pedri believes the new Spain head coach will succeed.

Pedri says:

"He's a straightforward guy, he likes to do what he believes in and I think we'll do well.

"All the coaches that come here try to get the ball and play, at least because of the style of the players we have, and I don't think that's going to change much."
