'I've never seen anything like it':

Odegaard reveals key differences between Arteta and other managers

Martin Odegaard told TV 2 in Norway about Mikel Arteta:

"That really surprised me. How meticulous he and the whole team are.

"I've never met anything like it, with people who look at football that way and people who see details exactly like him.

"It could be the simple little things or the bigger things. It's incredibly detailed and there's a lot of little things that we talk about, watch the video after every game and all that. “It was a pleasure to work with him and the team. That works."

Odegaard worked with Carlo Ancelotti and Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid. At Arsenal, he was well on his way to winning the Premier League as a captain.

Gabby Agbonlahor warned Kaoru Mitoma not to take a big step at "first chance", adding that some players "couldn't get to the next level".

Mitoma has been one of the Premier League stars this season. He contributes an average of one goal every two games, scoring six goals and providing four assists in 20 games.

Along with that achievement, the Japan international has scored 2 goals and assisted 2 times in 4 FA Cup games.

For his first season in England, these are very promising comebacks. Furthermore, they suggest that he can promote them and go further next term.

Whether in Brighton is another question. Indeed, Mitoma has been linked with moves to several major teams:

Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City are among them.

Arsenal seem to be the favourites, and a fee in the region of £35m could clearly help them land the star.

If Mitoma continues to impress for the rest of the season, that fee could increase. However, if that is the case, he will likely be worthy of what Brighton is asking of a team that wants to sign him.

Agbonlahor warns Mitoma about big move too soon

Former Premier League striker Agbonlahor admits it would not be good for Mitoma to leave Brighton so soon.

"I don't want to see players leave at the first opportunity after a successful season," he told Football Insider.

"Obviously Mitoma has been fantastic for Brighton, but it's very different when you go to a top club."

Agbonlahor also warned Mitoma that he might not be in shape for a bigger team.

"We've seen it so many times with players who can't get to the next level after falling," he added. Indeed, it is something that can go both ways. The pressure of playing for a big team can weigh heavily on one player, but conversely, playing alongside so many top players can help him grow - who knows which direction Mitoma will take.

Mitoma recommends staying for now

"Just because you've had a good season doesn't mean you'll be immediately successful when you move in for £60m or £70m," Agbonlahor said.

"I think Mitoma should stay at Brighton for another season and take it to the next level because they are a growing club."

Indeed, people might be interested in waiting to see how Mitoma will perform in the upcoming season. While it's not a random season when it first premiered in the Premier League, it's still possible. As such, a big team can sign him and if he doesn't come they will waste their money.

As for Brighton, they could keep their star for another season if he heeds Agbonlahor's advice. If he stays in good form, they can demand more money for their star when it's time to sell.

If he has another good season, that will help them too. It looks like they won't be able to keep him for much longer than that, as their recent history of selling players suggests they will have to give up if a big offer comes in. However, they always seem to find another quality asset, so that may not be a huge loss.
