Fans have shared their displeasure with Chelsea manager Graham Potter over Noni Madueke after the England U21 striker's highlight roll surfaced.

It seems that even when his team isn't playing, Potter is still struggling to stay out of criticism, following a difficult campaign at Chelsea following his move from Brighton.

He recently saved his job, after appearing to play two games and helping his team reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

But he was later criticized for doing a "thriller" skit with Ted Lasso earlier this week, with the Apple+ show angering Blues fans twice.

With some big Premier League games coming up in the near future, as well as a Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid, Potter could have been hoping for a pleasant week. Rather than worry about the next problem that could arise, the former Brighton boss is said to just hope none of his players get injured while on international duty.

However, fans of the west London side spotted Madueke's performance for England Under-21s against young French players in which the striker scored and provided two assists.

The highlights are pretty glorious, and it has left fans wondering why he has been 'retained' by his manager at Stamford Bridge.

"Chelsea has real talent here but Potter killed it," said one fan.

"And we prioritize Christian Pulisic over him!" say in a second. A third added: "I have to say this, all the players we have this season are good and great players, but we don't have a good manager to fix the bad ones. this boy and get them integrated into the team."

Another replied: 'Nice presentation but instead Harry Potter will let him sit on the bench' which is magic.

"Potter kills Chelsea. Best team on paper, worst on the pitch. It's painful," commented a fifth.

Suggesting others get ahead of the former PSV player in ranking order, another posted: "Potter would rather replace Conor Gallagher."

"I hope Madueke's wings won't be cut short by his limited playing time at Chelsea and he can reach his full potential," another fan said. "Special talent" one fan finally put it simply.

Madueke is one of eight players Chelsea signed in the January transfer window, joining PSV for €35m, but he has made just four league appearances so far, two of them coming on from bench.

Paul Merson has stated that Potter is not involved in signing every player this winter, and if so, it looks like Madueke could be in that category.

At just 21 years old, the former Tottenham Hotspur youngster still has plenty of time to prove himself at Stamford Bridge.
