Carlo Ancelotti has received a lot of attention over the open coaching position with the Brazil national team.
The future head coach of the national team, Carlo Ancelotti, has been shown interest in by the president of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF).
Brazil has not yet announced a permanent replacement for Tite, who left after the country's quarterfinal exit from the World Cup in Qatar. The position is likely to be filled at the conclusion of the current campaign.
Ancelotti's Real Madrid contract runs through the end of the 2023–24 season, but the Italian coach has been hotly tipped to take over the South American powerhouses, with players among those speculating about the likelihood.
Ednaldo Rodrigues acknowledged that he was the confederation's top objective and that he was the fan and player favorite.
"Players all have the utmost regard for Ancelotti. Not only Vinicius Jr. or Ronaldo Nazario, but everyone who has played for him, he told Reuters.
"I truly admire him for how consistently he works and how honestly he conducts himself. No one needs to introduce him. He is an excellent instructor with a number of accomplishments, and we wish him continued success.
"Ancelotti is not only favored by the players, but also, it appears, by the audience. He is the first name the fans in every stadium I visit in Brazil ask me about.
"They have extremely kind things to say about him because of the excellent work he has done in his career.
"While we search for the new coach of the Brazilian national team, let's have faith in God, wait for the right time, and we'll see if we can make it happen."
Rodrigues clarified that no official contact has been made and urged patience in the search for a new boss despite the numerous compliments and appeal of signing Ancelotti.
"We shall adhere to the highest standards of ethics and respect all existing contracts. It would be disrespectful to the president of the clubs in issue to not acknowledge the work that any coach and his team put in to travel there and make any kind of approach, he continued.
So that we can have these dialogues, we have the patience to wait for the appropriate time.
"The name of the upcoming coach hasn't really been established yet, but it falls within this range, you get it? We need a coach that is admired and respected by the team."
