The first constitution of Pakistan was adopted on March 23, 1956, when the Dominion of Pakistan became the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, making Pakistan the first Islamic republic in the world. This event is commemorated by the national holiday in Pakistan known as Pakistan National Day, also known as Pakistan Resolution Day.
The Muslim League's adoption of the Lahore Resolution, which called for the creation of an independent sovereign state derived from the provinces with majorities of Muslims in the north-west and east of British India (excluding autonomous princely states), on March 23, 1940, is also commemorated on this day.
Ms. Ayesha expressed her happiness at sharing Ghana's National Day with Ghanaians, friends from the diplomatic corps, and the Pakistani community.
Since the High Commission was reestablished in June of last year, it is an especially unique day for us since it is the first Pakistan Day reception we have hosted.
Ms
The dream of a free and independent nation was a commitment made by our forefathers, and it was realized on August 14, 1947.

Ms. Ayesha specifically emphasized the continued benefits of the two nations' reciprocal economic cooperation.
Collaboration "Pakistan and Ghana have been collaborating in the fields of diplomacy, economy, increasing human capacity, and interpersonal relationships."
With total commerce of almost $67 million, Ghana is Pakistan's second-largest commercial partner in West Africa.
Ms. Ayesha complimented the Pakistani population in Ghana for using their expertise to contribute favorably to Ghana's progress.
"Pakistanis are in charge of top companies in the fields of medicines, furniture and décor, agricultural machinery and goods, and information technology (IT) and equipment.
Working as physicians, IT specialists, engineers, managers, and skilled employees in global corporations in Ghana, they are known for their professionalism and dedication to their jobs.
The High Commissioner thanked the Government of Ghana for making the High Commission's stay possible and for aiding in establishing it in Accra.
Kwaku Ampratwum-Sarpong, the commissioner of foreign affairs and regional integration, sent his congratulations to the Pakistani people on the occasion of the first anniversary of their national day in Accra.
"We recognize this accomplishment as a glaring illustration of the close links that exist between our two nations. We anticipate that the High Commission's presence in Accra will strengthen our relationship and encourage profitable trade between the two nations," he added.
"It is hoped that the reopening of the Mission in Ghana and our hosting of the Secretariat of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) will serve as an additional incentive for Pakistani businesses to seize the chance to partner with Ghanaians and invest there in order to gain access to the continent's enormous market of 1.2 billion people and strengthen trade ties between the two nations."
