According to " Mayor Clinic" , Gonorrhea is a se6ually transmitted infection (STI) caused by the bacterium Neisseria gonorrhoeae. This common STI tends to target warm, moist areas of the body, including the urethra, or tube that drains urine from the bladder, eyes, throat, vagina, anus, female reproductive tract, which includes the fallopian tubes, cervix, and uterus.

Gonorrhea can affect people of any age or gender, but it' s particularly common among teens and young adults between the ages of 15 and 24.

Below are early signs of gonorrhea you should know;

1. Urinating regularly.

According to " Healthline" , Excessive urine can be caused by a variety of dangerous medical conditions, but it is also one of the first signs of gonorrhea in both men and women. If you discover that you use the restroom a lot, you should see your doctor right away to get the correct medical treatment before it' s too late.

2. Pain in the abdomen.

Abdominal discomfort is one of the signs you should pay attention to. If you observe significant stomach discomfort without any other symptoms, you should contact your doctor as soon as possible to get immediate medical attention before it' s too late.

3. Discharge of reproductive organs.

Discharge from your reproductive organs is another significant symptom that you should pay attention to. You should seek medical attention if you see a yellow, white, or brown discharge from your reproductive organs.

4. Urinary discomfort.

If you discover that each time you urinate, you experience pain or a heated sensation, you should take it seriously and see your doctor.

Most women don’t have symptoms. If they do, they’re often mild. You might mistake them for something else which is very bad and unhealthy.  They include:

  • Burning or pain when you pee
  • Bleeding between periods
  • More vaginal discharge than is typical
  • Pain in your belly
  • Pain when you have sex
