Ghana seems to be caught in the middle with selecting who to consider an ally or not between Russia, China and USA. Most countries across the world including some African countries like South Africa, have made their stand on whose side they are on, and it clearly depicts Russia and China since they are highly a member of their newly formed BRICS and also warning the USA Vice President not to visit South Africa. Ghana on the other hand needs to make a stand, most Ghanaians see the government or the country an ally of USA because of the visit of their Vice President. Meanwhile some also see the country on behalf of the Russia and China since Ghana last 2 years alone imported over US$166.39m worth of Russian goods and services. So the good people of Ghana seem to find it hard on who’s side their government is currently on.
WHY CHOSE SIDES?
The relation between Russia, China and USA are not the best. It is clearly leading to a world war three and when that happens countries would be fighting with and for their ally’s so Ghana would have to be in war for Russia and China or the USA since one is an ally. The Ghanaian government in taking steps to stop the depreciation of the cedi, has decided not to trade in Dollar any more and that seems to be going with the Russian idea or the BRICS idea so why still entertain the USA. According to sources the USA have more than one military bases in Ghana with Russia having known, also confusing to see who the country is siding with. As it stands now USA Vice President is in Ghana for a tour and it seems the Presidents speech declares on who’s behalf we are on. But not his facial expressions since it says otherwise.
